Flush the pump, if possible. Relieve pressure,
stopping the pump with the piston rod in its lowest
position, if possible. T

Unscrew the suction tube and hose from the
pump.

Use a screwdriver to push the retaining spring up.

Push out the pin. See Fig. 28.

Loosen the locknut and unscrew the pump.

Loosen the packing nut (416) and plug (405).
