What to do if Graco Project Paint Sprayer is not primed?
    • M
      Marcus HaasAug 26, 2025
If your Graco Paint Sprayer isn't primed, repeat the start-up procedure to remove air from the FlexLiner. Verify the cup lid is tight, using seal lube on the gasket for an airtight seal. If it sprays upside down but not upright, there's likely an air leak; replace the FlexLiner and VacuValve. Ensure only one FlexLiner is in the cup support and that there's no damage or debris on the FlexLiner's sealing edge or cup lid gasket. Make sure all air is out of the FlexLiner and the VacuValve cap is closed, and that the cup assembly is correctly installed. Clean the sprayer.

Why does my Graco Project Paint Sprayer spray pattern 'spit' at the end or beginning?
    • A
      Aimee DayAug 25, 2025
If your Graco Paint Sprayer's spray pattern 'spits', it could be due to excess material on the spray tip and guard, or a partially plugged tip, so clean the spray tip and guard, and clear the tip. Ensure the spray tip is fully inserted into the spray tip guard. A worn or damaged spray tip will cause this, so replace it. It's also possible the pump has reached its maximum life, so replace the pump. Finally, check if the extension spring has fallen out of place and put it back.
