Voicemail
Voicemail is only enabled on extensions assigned to individual users. Common phones such as the office
or sales floor uses only the first extension for voicemail. The Voicemail messages and greeting can be
changed by pressing the Voicemail key, entering in the password/pin and following the prompts.
Default setting is for Voicemails to be sent to the email address of the assigned user or the group email
for the general mailbox. For the general, the voicemail and faxes are received using the same email
group.
Transfer/Forward a Call
While in a call, you can transfer that call to another phone or outside telephone number. There are two
types, Blind Transfer or Assisted Transfer. Blind Transfer immediately sends the call to the destination
number. Assisted Transfer allows you to speak with the person at the destination before transferring.
Blind Transfer using Speed Dial/BLF Line Keys (Busy Lamp Field)
While in call, press the Transfer Key, then scroll using the arrow keys to the page and pressing the Line
Key for the BLF you want to transfer the call to. The call will be immediately transferred.
Blind Transfer using extension or telephone number
While in call, press the Transfer Key or Soft Key, then dial the extension or telephone number. After
dialing, immediately press the Soft Key BlindTrnf
Assisted Transfer using Speed Dial/BLF Line Keys (Busy Lamp Field)
While in call, press one of the BLF Line Keys. The first call will be put on hold immediately and the
destination called. You will see that the Line Key for the first call starts to blink, there will be a second
Line Key activated for the new call. After speaking to the individual, press the hard Transfer Key and
then press the blinking Line Key for the call you want to transfer. Both parties are now connected.
Assisted Transfer using extension or telephone number
While in call, place the caller on hold using the Hold Key. Then dial the extension or telephone number
you want to transfer to. When they answer, you can speak to them, then press the hard Transfer Key
and select the first Line Key that is blinking. Both parties are now connected.
Warm Transfer (Transfer on Conference Hang-up)
While in call, press the 4-Way Call button. The dial the number/extension, press BLF Key, or select a
contact in the phonebook. When they answer, you can speak to them, then press the 4-Way Call button
and select the first Line key to connect into a conference. Once connected in the conference to you can
speak with both the caller and the person you are transferring to. You can now hang up and the they
others will continue to be connected.
