9 TROUBLESHOOTING
Symptom Verication item Solution
When the media loaded
it scans the push roller
position but it could not
detect the position of the
push rollers.
Is the exible cable of push roller
sensor securely connected to the
Y relay board and the push roller
sensor board?
Conrm the push roller exible cable is
connecting to the connector of Y relay
board and the push roller sensor board
correctly. Reconnect the cable securely.
Is there any damage for the contact
of push roller exible cable?
Replace the push roller exible cable if it
is damaged.
Is the push roller sensor responded
when it is tested in the sensor test in
the maintenance mode?
Replace the push roller sensor board if it
does not respond.
The position of all push
rollers could not detect.
Conrm the number of push rollers
are set correctly?
Set the number of push rollers in the
maintenance mode correctly.
While scanning the
push rollers position,
the “E05004 ERROR
REALIGN PUSH
ROLLERS” is displayed.
Conrm all push rollers are on the
grid rollers.
Set the right push roller to the right side
media edge where on the grid roller.
Set the left push roller to the left side
media edge where on the grid roller.
Move middle push rollers on the grid
rollers.
The plotter displays
“LOAD MEDIA!” when
media has been loaded.
Is the cam sensor cable securely
connected to the main board and the
sensor?
Conrm the cam sensor exible cable is
connecting to right side.
Connect the cable securely.
Replace the cam sensor exible cable if
the contact of exible cable has damage.
Is the cam sensor dog xing on the
cam shaft securely?
Tighten the screws for the cam sensor
dog securely.
Is the cam sensor responded when
it is tested in the sensor test in the
maintenance mode?
Replace the cam sensor board if it does
not respond.
When the media was
loaded by the roll 1 or
the sheet mode, the
media jams.
Conrm all push rollers are on the
grid rollers.
Set all push rollers are on the grid rollers.
If the middle of push rollers are not
used on the grid roller, set push rollers
pressure to weak, and then set the push
roller sensor detection function to the
“INSIDE DISABLED”.

The plotter can’t
recognize the Y direction
of the media size, and it
displays the maximum
media width.
Is the push roller sensor disabling? Set the pinch roller sensor enable setting
in the ADVANCE menu.]
Set the push roller detection function to
the enable.
