CHAPTER 3 Settings and Measurement
Adapter for AC current sensor (GS-DPA-AC: optional) setting
Performs the setting related to the input of adapter for AC current sensor.
The Setting screen is displayed at the end of the group by connecting the adapter for AC current sensor and
turning On the GL840’s power.
(1)-42 Input setting
This is used to select the AC clamp mode.
Setting Description
AC 1P2W Set when measured with the single-phase 2-wire.
* Power = Measured current × Voltage × Power factor
AC 1P3W Set when measured with the single-phase 3-wire.
* Power = (Measured current (ch1) × Measured current (ch2) x Voltage × Power factor
AC 3P3W Set when measured with the triple-phase 3-wire.
* Power = ((Measured current (ch1) + Measured current (ch2)) ÷ 2) x Voltage ×3 x Power factor
This is used to select the input conditions.
Setting Description
Off The input signal is not measured. The waveform and digital display also are not performed.
1ch Current Used to select the CH1 current.
2ch Power CH1 power is displayed. The range is linked to the current. Settable only when measured with
the single-phase 2-wire.
Off when measured with the single-
phase 3-wire and 3-phase 3-wire.
ACC.
POWER
CH1 accumulated power is displayed. The range is linked to
the current.
3ch Current Used to select the CH2 current.
4ch Power CH2 power is displayed. The range is linked to the current.
ACC.
POWER
CH2 accumulated power is displayed. The range is linked to the current.
5ch to 8ch No AMP Because the amplier cannot be installed, the “No AMP” is displayed.
(1)-43 Range setting
Select the range of the current (power) to measure.
Setting Description
Current 50, 100, 200A
Power (20, 50, 100kW) It is linked to the current range.
(1)-44 EU setting
This is used to unit-convert the measurement signal.
Refer to “<Setting example: For voltage input>” in “(1)-5 EU (Scaling settings)” in “3.4 Setting Menus”.
Even if the scaling setting is applied to the original measured value of CH, the accumulated power is not
reected in the accumulated power CH.
