CHAPTER 3 Settings and Measurement
(2)-1 Sampling interval
This is used to set the sampling interval for data capture.
The table below shows the number of measuring channels and sampling interval values that can be set.
If data uctuate due to noise, set the sampling interval to a value which enables the digital lter function.

*1: Number of Measuring Channels is number of channels for which the input settings of the standard terminal,
withstand high-voltage high-precision terminal or screwless terminal/remote terminal are set to other than OFF.
(CHs in GS sensor and terminal/addapter and wireless sensor are not included.)
*2:
When the temperature setting is performed in 10, 20, or 50 ms sampling interval, the data capture cannot be performed.
*3: The number of measuring channels of the sampling interval at which the digital lter is effective when the remote
terminal is connected is the number of channels for each of the GL840 and the remote terminal.
•
A large deviation may occur when the sampling interval is slow, because the timing of the sampling
interval is different between the GL840 and the remote terminal (GLT400).
•
If communication delay or disconnection to the remote terminal (GLT400) occurs due to the
communication environment, the reconnect will be tried. Therefore, the sampling timing after
reconnection may be shifted from the previous one.
•
The maximum communication interval between the GL840 and the remote terminal (GLT400) is 500 ms. It
may be longer than 500ms depending on the communication environment. Therefore, when the trigger or
alarm function is used, the determination may be delayed.
When using the digital lter, the AC power frequency to be used must be set accurately. Please perform
the setting accurately in reference to “(5)-8 AC Line cycle”.
