Easy Connection (WPS)
Easy Connection (WPS) is the standards for easily making wireless LAN unit settings. It can be set by either
the push button method or the PIN code method. The name of WPS may vary depending on the wireless
LAN router on the market.
< Operation procedure>
Push button method
The connection is completed by selecting "WPS execute" in the "Easy Connection (WPS)" screen and
pressing the button corresponding to the WPS of the wireless LAN unit to be connected.
PIN code method
• When GL840 is set to access point:
Obtain the PIN code of the wireless LAN remote unit and enter it in the "PIN code" eld on the "Easy
connection (WPS)" screen and then select "WPS execute".
• When GL840 is set to station:
Enter the PIN code of the wireless LAN base unit in the "PIN code" eld on the "Easy connection (WPS)"
screen and select "WPS execute".
