CHAPTER 3 Settings and Measurement
(8) Search for the sensors which connected in "Remote unit settings".
• Connection I/F: Wireless LAN
• Connection remote unit: Wireless sensor
• Connection: Set WL1 to On
After setting the above, search for WL1.
If the GL100-WL is found, the unit names that can be connected are displayed. If the wireless sensor list
is not displayed, repeat until you nd it.
* Search may not be possible depending on the radio wave condition. If the LAN display of the GL100-WL
is not displayed, check the power status and settings.
Then, when the unit name to be connected is selected from the displayed wireless sensor list, the unit name is
automatically registered.
After checking the AMP1 (AMP2) in which the unit name and the contents of the connected GS sensor
and terminal/adapter are indicated, be sure to press "OK" to apply the settings.
After completing the settings, turn off the power of the GL840 and then turn on the power of the GL840.
When the connection is completed, the following is displayed and the connection is completed.
While Wireless 1 is connected
While the GL100-WL is connected
•
Comparing data capture with GL100-WL and data capture with standard terminal or withstand high-
voltage high-precision terminal, 2-3 data are delayed due to data processing of GL100-WL and connected
GS sensor and terminal/adapter.
•
When checking or replaying the data, you should consider the data delay.
<Example of operation procedure>: Example of wired LAN connection to remote terminal (GLT400)
This section describes how to connect the GL840 and GLT400 via a wired LAN.
It is assumed that the GL840 and GLT400 are connected to the same network hub with a LAN cable in
advance.
