<Example of operation procedure>: Example of wireless LAN connection to wireless sensor (GL100-WL)
The wireless connection method when setting the GL840 to “Access Point” and the GL100 to “Station” is
described.
[WLAN setting]
(1) Set the wireless LAN to "Access point".
(2) Then, select the “Restart the wireless LAN”.
When the is displayed and the restart is completed, the following screen is displayed.
(3) Set the SSID of the GL840.
Enter the “GTC_GL840_01”.
For details on entering the characters, refer to “(8) Character string input”.
(4) Set the other items.
Encryption method: None, Channel: 1ch, Stealth: Off, 11n: On
(5) After setting the above items, be sure to select the "Apply settings" (" " key) to reect them.
The "Wireless LAN restart" is automatically executed and then the settings is reected.
(6) Make sure the IP address of wireless LAN. When the “AP-IP setting” is selected, the following dialog is displayed.
Set the segment of IP address and select the "Apply settings”. The settings of subnet mask and port
number other than the segment are xed.
* Do not set the same segment as the wired LAN set in the "I/F" MENU.
(7) Then, set the [I/F] of the GL100-WL.
• Wireless LAN mode: Station
• DHCP: On
• SSID: GTC_GL840_01
• Security: Off
