Maintenance
The 910FS can perform routine maintenance. In “Maintenance”, the operator can
calibrate arc, set motor drive, calibrate motors, adjust screen, replace electrodes, and
stabilize electrodes.
Arc Calibration
Used to calibrate arc function to obtain the best splicing results when a splicing session
is rst started or if the splicing environment has changed.
1. Place splicer in Splice Mode #1 (AUTO).
2. Select “Arc Calibration.”
3. Prepare and load bers.
4. Press

5. If too low or high, load new bers.

7. Repeat steps 1–4 until “arc adjust OK” displays on splicer screen.
