8 Inspection and maintenance works, replacement parts
SECUREconnect 100 may only be operated with the original mains adaptor or with 230V AC.
If other than original products are used, all product liability, warranty, and service claims will
expire.
If replacement parts or extensions are required, orignial parts may be used exclusively.
Maintenance and repair works must only be carried out by experts trained and authorised by
the manufacturer.
Locks:
The serviceability of the locking system must be veried at regular intervals. For doing so,
check all all xing points and retighten screws, if required. In order to avoid that the mechani-
cal properties of the lock – especially with regard to key, handle, and latchbolt movement – are
affected by dirt, it is necessary that the lock is inspected and lubricated (e.g. with BKS mainte-
nance spray) at regular intervals.
SECUREconnect 100
SECUREconnect 100 is maintenance-free.
We recommend that the contacts be cleaned with a soft and dry cloth occasionally.
By no means use cleaning agents and lubricants containing oil or silicone.
9 Disposal
The device contains electronic parts and must be disposed of in compliance with the legal
regulations.
