SECTION 6: MAINTENANCE
For optimum performance from this machine, this
maintenance schedule must be strictly followed.
Ongoing
To maintain a low risk of injury and proper
machine operation, if you ever observe any of the
items below, shut down the machine immediately
and fix the problem before continuing operations:
• Loose mounting bolts.
• Damaged saw blade.
•
Worn or damaged wires.
•
Any other unsafe condition.
Monthly
• Check belt for tension, damage, or wear.
• Remove blade and thoroughly clean all built-
up sawdust from the rubber tires on the
wheels.
• Clean/vacuum dust buildup from inside cabi-
net and off motor.
Schedule
To reduce risk of shock or
accidental startup, always
disconnect machine from
power before adjustments,
maintenance, or service.
Cleaning &
Lubricating
Vacuum excess wood chips and sawdust, and
wipe off the remaining dust with a dry cloth. If
resin has built up, use a resin dissolving cleaner
to remove it.
Once a month, remove the blade and thoroughly
clean all built-up sawdust from the rubber tires on
the wheels.
If the table becomes difficult to tilt, lubricate the
trunnion gear and the slide in the trunnion base.
