5. Add four drops of
Glycine Reagent to the
sample. Swirl to mix.
6. Add the contents of
one DPD Free Chlorine
Powder Pillow to the
prepared sample cell.
Swirl the sample for
20 seconds to mix.
7. Wait 30 seconds for
any undissolved powder
to settle.
Immediately proceed to
step 8.
8. Within one minute of
adding the reagent, wipe
the sample cell and place
it into the cell holder.

Read.
Results will appear in
mg/L ClO

Touch
Start.
2. Fill a round sample
cell with 10-mL of
sample. (This is the
blank.)
Fill a 50-mL beaker with
40 mL of sample.
3. Wipe the blank and
place it into the cell
holder.
4. Touch Zero.
The display will show:
0.00 mg/L ClO
