Use an applicable electrostatic discharge (ESD) device
such as ESD wrist strap to equalize your body’s charge
with the ventilator unit’s charge before you start the
installation. This will help protect the electronic
components of the ventilator unit and the
communication board from ESD damage.
Turn off the VU and disconnect the power cable
from the mains power supply before you start the
installation. This will prevent possible electric shock
or damage to the VU or the communication board.
