Note: The power supply wiring is not always necessary, as the panel maybe powered by its
own internal power supply. This will be shown on the wiring drawing.
7.3.4 Customer Supplied Wiring Required Specifications

Specification
Brand Rex HF57502 or UL Style 2464 or equivalent; for example, RS Stock
No. 362-184.
Note: Cat5e networking cable can also be used and has the advantage of
providing spare twisted pairs should a wire break.
Details
Cable should have Halogen-free Polyolefin flame retardant sheathing to
BS4066 and IEC332 part 1 which gives off low smoke/fumes on burning.
Cable should have 2 twisted pairs with overall screen and drain.
Conductors should be 7/0.2mm (24AWG) stranded tinned copper.
The operational temperature range must be –25 to +75
o
C.
Up to 1000m of cable can be used without line drivers being
required.
