 If you are not able to ghten
LATCH using the method above, try
pulling the LATCH strap up through
the belt path (under the fabric) ❹,
then ghten.
5. Should you need to loosen the
LATCH, push the LATCH release
buon ❺.
:  put two LATCH
connectors on one vehicle LATCH
anchor unless specically allowed
by the manufacturer ❻.
6. Secure the top of the child restraint
using the Top Tether strap (see
“Using Top Tether”, pg. 25).
Conduct a safety check for a secure
installaon (see “Installaon safety
check”, pg. 34). Perform this test
every me you drive with your
child and whenever you readjust the child restraint as
your child grows.

both LATCH hooks to the fabric
loops on each side of the backrest
