Operating Notes
When setting the control parameters on the HFS6801+, observe the
following:
• If you make changes to certain parameters, other related parameters
may also be affected. See the section “Setting HFS6801+ Control
Parameters” on page 28 for more information.
• When you change a parameter, the effect is immediate. However,
the module requires up to 20 seconds to save the latest change.
After 20 seconds, the new settings are saved and will be restored if
the module loses power and must be restarted.
• When you set the Factory Recall parameter to Ye s, the module
takes several seconds to reset all of the parameters to their default
settings.
• For proper operation, the output HD standard frame rate should
match or be double the reference standard frame rate.
• For best results, terminate any unused coaxial output connectors
with a 75Ω terminator.
