– (1) Apply silicone to the underside of the step protection cover
8.7 in the area of the front edge and on the sides.
– (2.1) Insert the step protection cover upright into the threshold.
– (2.2) Flip the step protection cover down and clip it into the
threshold.
– (3) Cut the sealing step protection 8.11 to length – length of
step protection profile + approx. 10 mm – before pressing
it in and fixing it in place in the grove between threshold
and step protection cover (see Detail Fig. 6.1).
Fix the sealing in place at the ends inside the groove using
silicone. The sealing must be fixed in place to keep its length
from shifting.

– (1) Silikon auf die Unterseite des Trittschutzes 8.7 im Bereich
der vorderen Kante und den Seiten auftragen.
– (2.1) Trittschutz hochkant in die Boden schwelle einführen.
– (2.2) Trittschutz nach unten kippen und in Bodenschwelle
einklipsen.
– (3) Dichtung Trittschutz 8.11 ca. 10 mm länger als das
Trittschutzprofil ablängen und in die Nut zwischen Boden-
schwelle und Trittschutz eindrücken (siehe Detail Abb. 6.1).
Die Dichtung an den Enden mit Silikon in der Nut fixieren.
Die Fixierung ist wichtig, um Längenänderungen der Dichtung
vorzubeugen.
