Check Display Shield Area to show the shield area on the live view.

Click Add to save the re detecon shield, and it will be listed in the list. You can select a region
and click Delete to delete it from the list. You can also enable the region or not.

Click Save.
7.3 Perimeter Protecon
The funcon is used to detect whether there is any target breaking the perimeter protecon rules.
The opcal camera will track the target and the device will alarm when the perimeter protecon
rule is triggered.
7.3.1 Set Perimeter
Protecon Rules
The device can detect whether there is any target breaking the perimeter protecon rules. The
device will alarm when the rule is triggered.
Before You Start
Go to Conguraon → System → Maintenance → VCA Resource Type , select Temperature
Measurement + Perimeter
Protecon.
Steps
1.
Go to Conguraon → Perimeter Protecon → Rule .
2.
Check Intelligent Analysis.
3.
Oponal: Check Enable Fusion to view opcal and thermal image.
4.
Set perimeter protecon rules.
1) Click to add a new rule.
2) Enter the rule name, and click the drop down menu to select Rule Type.
Line Crossing
If any target moves across the
seng line, the alarm will be triggered. You can set the
crossing
direcon.
Intrusion
If any target intrudes into the pre-dened region longer than the set duraon, the alarm
will be triggered.
Region Entrance
If any target enters the pre-dened region, the alarm will be triggered.
Region Exing
If any target exits the pre-dened region, the alarm will be triggered.
3) Draw the
detecon rule.
