Connecting test leads
WARNING
• Do not use this device for measuring the voltage of
commercial power supply.
• If there is a large voltage on the neutral side,
(live wire warning LED) blinks and beep sound goes
off. Immediately remove the test leads from the
commercial power supply.
• If the earth potential is high, attention needs to be
paid for the risk of electric shock.
• To prevent an electric shock, do not exceed the
lower of the ratings shown on the instrument and
test leads.
The gure below shows an example of connection in the case of using
a commercial power supply that is grounded on its N (neutral) side.
