The following procedure describes how to install the side stabilizer plates.
Installing side stabilizer plates is required only when the rack is installed as a
stand-alone rack system with no equipment mounted in it. The side plates
keep the rack from tipping on its sides. If equipment is mounted in the rack,
the use of these side stabilizer plates is optional.
1. Remove side stabilizer plates from cabinet. The side panels are grounded
inside the cabinet. To remove them, unlock the latches and then pull
panel out and up.
2. Place the stabilizer plate as shown above so it can mate against the
bracket at the bottom sides of frame and align with the holes.
