Overload
Advance Notice
Signal
When the output current exceeds a
preset value, the [OL] or [OL2]
terminal signal turns ON. The parame-
ter C041 (or C111, respectively) sets
the overload threshold. The overload
detection circuit operates during
powered motor operation and during
regenerative braking. The output relay
contacts are closed when the inverter is
in overload (normally open logic).
NOTE: The example circuit in the table above drives a relay coil. Note the use of a diode to
prevent the negative-going turn-off spike generated by the coil from damaging the inverter’s
output transistor.
