6.7 Replacing the ink filter
Replace the ink filter after the ink filter gets empty. As the ink filter can be replaced without draining ink
in the filter, ink will not be wasted.

Display the Circulation control screen and press the Ink filter replacement →
Start/Continue .

A filter replacement operation guide is displayed.
● When Start/Continue is pressed, ink in the ink filter is transferred to the main ink tank.
● When operation was aborted, repeat operation from step 1 .
● When “The main ink tank too full” fault is generated, refer to “6.12 Draining ink from the main
ink tank” and drain approx. 100ml of ink, then retry from 1 .
● If the ink was accidentally spilled, quickly wipe it off with wiping paper, etc.
In addition, do not close the maintenance cover until you confirm that the wiped part
is completely dry.
CAUTION
When the operation guide “Replace ink filter “ is displayed, pull out the
reservoir base and remove the ink filter from the holder.

Disconnect piping joints C and D and connect them to a new ink filter.
