Congratulation on your purchase of an
X200 Series Hitachi inverter! This
inverter drive features state-of-the-art
circuitry and components to provide
high performance. The housing
footprint is exceptionally small, given
the size of the corresponding motor. The
Hitachi X200 product line includes
more than a dozen inverter models to
cover motor sizes from 1/4 horsepower
to 10 horsepower, in either 240VAC or
480VAC power input versions.
The main features are:
x 200V and 400V class inverters
x US or EU versions available (country-specific input voltage range and default values)
x Built-in RS485 MODBUS RTU as standard
x New current suppressing function
x Sixteen programmable speed levels
x PID control adjusts motor speed automatically to maintain a process variable value
x Integrated CE filter for SFE and HFE versions
The design in Hitachi inverters overcomes many of the traditional trade-offs between
speed, torque and efficiency. The performance characteristics are:
x High starting torque of 100% at 6Hz
x Continuous operation at 100% torque within a 1:10 speed range (6/60Hz / 5/50Hz)
without motor derating.
x Fan has ON/OFF selection to provide longer life for cooling fan.
