12.3.1 Safety devices on the machine
It is generally prohibited to modify safety equipment of the machine or to make ineffective!
Position of safety devices:

Planer shaft cover
Prevents when dressing of workpieces to engage the rotating
cutterhead.

safety shutdown
When opening the Abrichttisches a limit switch is activated,
interrupts the power supply to the drive unit.
Unintentional starting at the folded planer tables is thus pre-
vented.

EMERGENCY STOP button
In case of danger or in case of failure:
- Press the EMERGENCY STOP button
- Stop driving unit including feed
It was only after the fault and if there is no danger:
- Solve-EMERGENCY STOP button by turning it clockwise
- Planing machine can be restarted
12.4 Residual risk factors
Also in compliance with all safety regulations and when used following residual risks are considered:
 Risk of injury to the hands / fingers through the circular saw blade during operation.
 Risk of injury from contact with live electrical components.
 Risk of injury or ejection fraction or the circular saw blade circular saw blade parts, especially
case of overload and in the wrong direction.
 Hearing, unless arrangements have been made by the user for hearing protection.
