HORN
INSPECTION
Disconnect the connectors from the horn.
Connect a 12 V battery to the horn terminals.
The horn is normal if it sounds when the 12 V bat-
tery is connected across the horn terminals.
REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Remove the under cowl (page 2-13).
Disconnect the connectors from the horn.
Remove the bolt and horn.
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
TURN SIGNAL RELAY
Turn signal light does not blink
Check the following:
– Burned bulb or non-specified wattage
– Blown fuse
Remove the left side cover (page 2-4).
Remove the turn signal relay from the stay.
Slide the rubber cap and disconnect the turn signal
relay 4P (Natural) connector.
Connect the Red/green and Gray wire terminals of
the wire harness side connector with a jumper wire.
Turn the ignition switch ON and check the turn sig-
nal lights by operating the turn signal switch.
• If the light does not come on, check for an open
circuit in the Red/green and Gray wires.
• If the light comes on, check the connector termi-
nals for loose or poor contact.
If the connector terminals are OK, replace the
turn signal relay.
