ap. Set CAM RATE (RPM) switch on Calibrator 11A to 900.
aq. Press SETUP key on 8500C/C+.
ar. Key in 450 in BALANCE FREQUENCY field.
as. Key in x2 as times factor.
at. Press ENTER soft key.
au. Wait 10 seconds
av. Press START key.
aw. Verify the display indicates (example in Figure 5-3):

1 RPM
0.4 +
0.04 IPS
275° +
10°
ax. Press STOP key.
ay. Move 11210 cables to next Velocimeter channel positions listed in Table 5-3, and move
cable 10808 to magnetic pickup channel position indicated in table.
az. Press SETUP on 8500C/C+.
ba. Select PICKUP field with arrow keys.
bb. Press CHANGE soft key to select pickup shown in Table 5-3.
bc. Select INPUT field with arrow keys.
bd. Key in channel number shown in Table 5-3 with numeric key.
be. Press ENTER soft key.
bf. Wait 10 seconds.
