c. Hold disk with arrow facing up and pointing in and insert disk in 8500C/C+ disk drive-
push in until drive button pops out (Figure 2-1).
d. Press STATUS.
e. Press FORMAT DSK soft key.
f. Press FORMAT soft key.
g. Because the cleaning disk contains no magnetic media, the message, DISK IS NOT 
CORRECTLY FORMATTED! will appear. Press CANCEL soft key to continue format 
procedure.
h. Press EXIT soft key when format is complete.
5.7.2 Inspection
Inspect components of the 8500C/C+ system in accordance with Table 5-13.
