4.9.1 Errors during calibration and recording the measured value
The measured v
alue fluctuates by more than 1% by vol. O
2
Î Possible cause:
x The sensor temperature must be the same as the ambient temperature
x Avoid exposing the sensor to heat from hands
x Observe the sensor's setting time specifications (see sensor label)
x The sensor opening must be clean and dry
x Mixing with ambient gasses during calibration
x Internal electrical fault inside the unit Î Call your dealer!
The unit does not show the expected measured value Î Possible cause:
x The gas mixture calculations are wrong
x The manometer is faulty
x The unit has not been calibrated
x The sensor temperature differs from the ambient temperature
x Mixtures of ambient gasses
The oxygen sensor runs down while operating even when the unit is switched
off. If the unit no longer displays the 20.9% O
2
- or 100% O
2
values during
calibration or if the measured value does not make sense after checking all
other potential causes, replace the sensor.
