Device will only read signal strength above Envelop level. Default envelop level DB value is 5.
User can set different value by referring to EFF curve based on site situation. See Figure 5-2
for the definition of this parameter.
Address and
MultiDrop
When two or more instruments use the HART communication interface
to connect to the host, this function can must be used to set the
instrument to MultiDrop operation mode. When LCD displays the
language menu (menu number 4.7), press key to enter the HART
operation mode menu. Display in LCD is as follows.
Press key to enter the HART operation mode setting interface.
Display in LCD is as follows.
Use key to select the standard or MultiDrop operation mode.
When selecting the standard operation mode, the local address is
specified as 0. When selecting the HART operation mode as MultiDrop,
it will show as follows:
The address can be changed to 1 ~ 15. The output current is then fixed at
either 4 or 8 mA.
