Multiple Controller Capability
In systems with more than one controller, only one controller can be active at a time. The
active controller can pass control to another controller but only the system controller can
assume unconditional control. Only one system controller is allowed per system.
Interface Circuits
Driver and receiver circuits are TTL compatible.
Bus Structure
The MP-IB signal lines consist of ei^t data lines (DIOl—DIOS), five bus management lines
(explained in following text), and three handshake lines. This is shown in figure 2-1.
