Entering and Evaluating Equations 6-9
To clear a saved equation:
Scroll the equation list up or down until the desired equation is in line 2 of the
display, and then press .
To clear all saved equations:
In EQN mode, press
 . Select (). The     menu is
displayed. Select Ö (Y) .
Example: Editing an Equation.
Remove 25 in the equation from the previous example.
Types of Equations
The HP 35s works with three types of equations:
 Equalities. The equation contains an "=", and the left side contains more
than just a single variable. For example, x

is an equality.
 Assignments. The equation contains an "=", and the left side contains just
a single variable. For example, A = 0.5 × b × h is an assignment.

Shows the end of edited equation
in the equation list.

Leaves Equation mode.
