PCL Mode and Examples
PCL Output Region (position)
You can change the
position
of the graph in PCL by varying the OUTPUT
REGION settings in the GRAPH PLOT window. These settings depend on the
PAPER settings in the PRINT/PLOT SETUP page to maintain the same aspect
ratio. See below for relationship of FEED DIR eld of PRINT/PLOT SETUP
page and OUTPUT REGION.
PCL Commands
You can send special printer commands by using the INIT STRING and
TRAILER STRING elds in the PRINT/PLOT SETUP page.You can use printer
commands to print in landscape mode(long side). Refer to your printer
manual for more detail on these and other special commands which are
available for your printer.

NOTE
Take care not to use number in mistake for a alphabet. For example \0"(zero) and \
O
"(alphabet).
NOTE
If you specify landscape orientation, you also need to set FEED DIR eld to LONG SIDE, so that
OUTPUT REGION will be calculated correctly.For portrait orientation, set FEED DIR eld to SHORT
SIDE.
