Alignment Techniques
In
this
method
you will slightly rotate
the
laser
Head until the reading on
the
Measurement
Display reaches a maximum,
thereby
moving the
la
ser beam to the hypotenuse of the triangle
described
above
and
eliminating cosine
error
.
Procedure
1. '
At
the
"nea
r
end
of travel", make
sure
the return bearns from
the
Optics are completely
over
lapped

rolate
the
laser
Head slightly.
If
there
is
any
change
in
the
Measurement
Display's reading

c. Adjust
the
Optics until
the
reading
doesn't change.
2. Move

3. Rotate
