4. On the front of the laser Head, set the exit ( top ) po rt's apert ure contro l to se l ect the small
aperture.
5. Move the I nterferometer up or down (after loosening the Height Adjuster's I l:Irge knob ), or
move the Base back and forth, until !he laser Beam passes th rough the ho le in the
Interferometer's target.
6. Move the RetrorefleCior in the same way until the laser Beam is centered on t he crosshair on
the Retrorefl ector 's target.
7. Remove the targets from bo th OptiCS. You should see two daIS on the front of the laser Head .
6. On the front of the laser Head, turn the return ( bottom ) port's aperture control until a tar get
appears in the center of the opening.
