First Look
Installation and Alignment of Optics
Mounting
Three (3) I-IP 10785A Post and Height Adjusters, and two (2) HP 10764A Bases, are in cluded as part
of the laser Measurement System's linear Measurement Kit. With the se fixtu res, you can attach
your Opti cs to m os t machine surfaces and tool sp indles and orient your Optics as required .
Each Optic requires al least one Po st and Height Adjuster. Attach the Height Adjuster to the side
of the Inlc r feromeler as s hown in Figure 2· 8, and then slide the Height Adju s ter over a Post
supported by a !lase.
