Installing an Expansion Bay Drive

Replace the audio, data and power cables.

Replace the cover. Refer to page 44.
Installing a Drive in the Lower Expansion Bay

Remove the cover. Refer to page 44.

Remove the PC’s front panel by simultaneously releasing the four lower clips.

Rotate the bottom part of the panel gently upwards until the whole panel can be
lifted off.

Lay the front panel on a flat surface beside the PC.

Remove the plastic masking plate from the front panel by prising the retaining tabs
open by hand.

If the bay has a metal blanking plate, then break it off using a screwdriver.

Slide the drive in from the front of the computer.
8
Tighten the three screws that fasten the drive to the bay. You must fit these screws
in the holes that have "1" engraved alongside.
