Before removing the power connector cable, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 37).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover and rubber feet on page 38).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 39).
To remove the power connector:
1. Pull back the Mylar cover to access the power connector (1).
2. Remove the cable (2).
3. Remove the power connector and cable from the computer (3).
Reverse this procedure to install the power connector cable.
