Searching for remote hosts
Clicking Host Search enables you to search for hosts in the network using the following options:
Ping Scan for Remote HostsThis option is used to search for hosts using an IP address range.
Port Scan for Remote HostsThis option is used to search for hosts using the IP address range along
with the Ports to Scan.
LDAP Query for Remote HostsThis option uses the LDAP server information to retrieve servers in
that network.
Onboard Administrator scan for iLO HostsThis option is used to search for hosts using their iLO IP
address.
Managing hosts
To add, edit, or delete hosts, click Manage Hosts. The Manage Hosts screen appears. A remote host can
be the IP address or DNS name of the following:
Remote server
Remote iLO NIC port
Virtual Connect Ethernet or Fibre Channel Module for c-Class BladeSystem
BladeSystem Onboard Administrator
