7. Close the top cover, and then lower the scanner
assembly.

Clear paper jams in the output bin
When a jam occurs, the Attention light blinks repeatedly on LED control panels, and a jam message
displays on 2-line and touchscreen control panels.
1. Remove any visible jammed paper from the
output bin area. Use both hands to remove
jammed paper to avoid tearing the paper.
