M.2 PCIe solid state drive (SSD)
For a list of available solid-state drives, see Computer major components on page 3.
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 14).
2. Remove the access panel (Access panel on page 15).
3. In models with a hard drive, remove the hard drive (Hard drive on page 19) and drive cage Drive cage
on page 21.
4. Locate the M.2 SSD on the system board.
5. Remove the screw (1) securing the SSD to the system board, and then pull the SSD from the socket on
the system board (2).
To replace the solid-state drive module, reverse the removal procedures.
