Front I/O assembly 745049-001
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 42).
2. Remove the access panel (
Access panel on page 43).
3. Remove the front bezel (
Front bezel on page 44).
4. From the inside of the computer, disconnect the three front I/O cables from the following system
board connectors:
●
FRONT USB 3.0 (P24)
●
FRONT USB (P23)
●
FRONT AUD (P23)
5. Remove the cables from the plastic tie on the base pan.
6. From the front of the computer, remove the Torx T15 screw that secures the assembly to the chassis
(1).
7. Rotate the left side of the assembly outward (2).
