Install the drive in the carrier.
6. Install the drive.
CAUTION: To prevent improper cooling and thermal damage, do not operate the server unless
all bays are populated with either a component or a blank.
7. Connect the power cord to the server.
8. Connect the power cord to the power source.
9. Power up the server (on page 14).
