Before replacing the component, install the optical drive bracket, retained from the optical drive you
are replacing.
To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.
Hot-plug fan
To remove the component:
1. Extend the server from the rack (on page 27).
2. Remove the access panel ("Access panel" on page 32).
3. Remove the fan.
