Press and hold the processor retaining bracket in place, and then close each processor locking
lever. Press only in the area indicated on the processor retaining bracket.
4. Align and install the heatsink.
5. Install the access panel ("Access panel" on page 32).
DIMMs
IMPORTANT:
This server does not support mixing RDIMMs and UDIMMs. Attempting to mix
these two types causes the server to halt during BIOS initialization.
To identify the DIMMs installed in the server, see "DIMM slot locations (on page 92)."
To remove the component:
1. Power down the server (on page 27).
2. Remove all power:
a. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
