Preparation procedures for server operation
Use the procedures in this section after removing or replacing any components before operating the server.
Installing the air baffle
Procedure
1. Power down the server.
2. Disconnect the power cord from the power source and the server.
3. Remove the bezel.
4. Place the server on its side with the access panel facing up.
5. Remove the access panel.
6. Insert the tabs on the baffle into the slots on the rear chassis.
7. Press the front end of the baffle into the chassis.
8. Install the access panel.
9. Install the bezel.
