Front fan removal (Optional)
To remove the front fan:
1. Disconnect power from the system (
Pre-disassembly procedures on page 53), and remove the
access panel (
Access panel on page 58). Place the workstation on its side with the system board
facing up.
2. Disconnect the fan wire from the connector on the system board.
3. Release the two card guide latches. Pivot the card guide toward the system board (1), and lift it
out of the chassis (2).
