WARNING:
Never disconnect all SAS cabling at the same time while the system is powered on. It is essential to
maintain an active SAS connection throughout the expansion process.
Procedure
1. If Remote Support via STaTS is configured, use the following StoreOnce CLI command to put the
StoreOnce System into maintenance mode and prevent a support case being generated:
system enable remoteeventsuppression “3rd JBOD Capacity Upgrade”
2. Use the two supplied 0.5 m SAS cables for the inter-drawer connections, as illustrated below.

Drawer 2, IO module B, port 1 Drawer 1, IO module B, port 2

3. Use one of the two supplied 1.0 m SAS cables to connect the IOM A modules on the two enclosures
