B Warranty Rules
Huawei will not be liable for any damage to Huawei ESMs caused by the following reasons:
Force Majeure
Being upside-down or tilted:
Natural disasters such as earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, floods, and landslides
Fires
Wars
Lightning strikes
Non-standard Operations
Damage such as breakage and leakage is caused to the ESMs due to misoperations or
incorrect connections during the ESM transportation and installation performed by the
customer.
The customer does not recharge the ESMs in time and the ESMs are stored longer than
the specified storage term, which causes capacity loss or irreversible damage to the
ESMs.
After the ESMs are installed and connected to the system, the customer does not power
on the ESMs in time, which causes the ESMs to be overdischarged and further causes
damage to the ESMs.
Damage is caused to ESMs because they are not accepted in time due to customer
reasons.
Damage is caused to ESMs because the operating environment or external power
parameters do not meet operating environment requirements. For example, the ambient
temperature is poor, power outage frequently occurs in the power grid, the ESMs are
frequently overdischarged due to the customer's improper maintenance, the capacity of a
customer site is expanded, and the ESMs are not fully charged for a long period.
The customer changes the ESM use scenarios without notifying Huawei.
Damage to ESMs is caused by the customer or a third party, for example, the customer
relocates or reinstalls ESMs without notifying Huawei.
The customer does not correctly set ESM operating management parameters including
but not limited to ESM capacity, number of ESMs, equalized charging voltage, float
charging voltage, charge current limit, and disconnection voltage.
