3.4.7 (Optional) Intelligent Battery Monitoring System
The intelligent battery monitoring system consists of the CIM (CIM01C2) and BIM
(BIM01C3).
The communication interface module (CIM) is an intelligent battery management module
which collects wireless communication data from the downstream BIM groups, collects and
analyzes the operating data of battery strings, calculates state of charge (SOC) and state of
health (SOH) of batteries and battery strings, estimates the battery health status, supports
battery tripping management, and uploads data to the monitoring system through COM or
PoE ports.
